I am a native French Speaker and I also a fluent speaker of Abbey (my African Language from the Ivory Coast), Spanish in addition to English. I also speak German at an advanced level and Portuguese at an intermediate level. If you are truly dedicated to learning French or Spanish, sign up to learn with me. Whether your goal is to become fluent or you need general tutoring, you will be learning with a passionate linguist and with time and dedication you will see desired growth in your ability to speak the language of your choice (Spanish, French, English ESL). I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with Undergraduate degrees (BA in International Studies and Spanish) and Graduate degrees (MA in Public Administration and Translating and Translation Studies).

Whether it is young students or adult learners, I always teach my pupils how to be proficient communicators in Spanish. I want my students to feel confident that they will be understood when living or traveling in any Spanish-speaking country. My teaching style is to fully immerse students in the culture and language. Developing a deep understanding helps students feel confident in their ability to speak Spanish. If you are ready to explore all that you’re capable of in speaking Spanish, sign up to learn with me. I am fully fluent in Spanish and have a love of Spanish literature. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico. I moved to New York City to further my studies and to put my English speaking skills to the test by studying at New York University, where I obtained a Master’s in Journalism. I also hold a Master’s in Education from Rutgers University and completed several ACTFL workshops. In addition, I have traveled to several South and Central American countries and I look forward to visiting more as a capstone to my 20-plus years of teaching proficiency in Spanish.

Spanish and French Tutoring LLC is a language school with the primary mission of helping each one of its learners (ages 8 and up including adults and professionals) achieve their language goal with the ultimate goal of reaching fluency in Spanish, French, and English as a Second Language. Our learners receive tailored tutoring sessions from a highly trained and experienced staff. Private, semi-private, group sessions, and summer enrichment programs are available online via Zoom or in person.
